Insects and Mites
We are excited to formally invite you to this year's EURL I&M training on scale insect identification!
For the first time this training will be organized by both consortium partners (ANSES and AGES) and will encompass training for the morphological identification as well as molecular identification. Specifically, this two-level training will include:
Here, one of the pilot organisms will be the quarantine species, Unaspis citri. The pilot organisms will be identified by two separate groups employing different disciplines (morphology and molecular tests). The results of both groups will be joined and discussed as part of an integrated diagnostic workflow. While the online session is accessible for all, participant numbers for the on-site training are limited to 6 participants for the morphological part and 4 participants for the molecular part.
