Chemical and Microbiological Food Analyses

The aim of the symposium is to bring together scientists, technicians and companies to discuss emerging technologies and techniques with emphasis on recent advances and applications in food analyses.

The scope of this symposium is to discuss different aspects of use, validation and application of –omics related to food, but not only..

The topics listed by the programming committee are:

  • Genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, foodomics
  • New rapid methods
  • Multi-methods
  • Hand-held instrumentation
  • Digitalization of the analytical process (from sampling to interpretation of results)

The venue is Nationaltheatret konferansenter KS Agenda, Haakon VIIs gate 9, Oslo, Norway (https://www.nationaltheatretkonferansenter.no)

Ordinary registration fee is 400 EUR, 200 EUR for students.

Please submit abstracts to nmkl@food.dtu.dk for poster presentations before 19 March 2019.

The abstract should include the title of the topic, name of the presenter(s) and contact information. Main contents should be max 150 words. Among the abstracts we will choose some to be briefly presented. The best poster will be awarded.

ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENTS

     

     Confirmatory LC-MS/MS method for beta-lactam residues in milk

     Validation of new confirmatory LC-MS/MS monitoring of 5 nitrofuran residues in tissues and including the nifursol metabolite

     Enhancing the control for multi-dye residues in aquaculture products by targeted method with LC-MS/MS and by untargeted approach using LC-HRMS

     Extending LC-HRMS screening analysis to all group B1 antimicrobial residues in different species/products  (on-going topic)
     and evaluation of the state-of-the-art in the EU-MS NRLs on analytical instrumentation for screening multi-antimicrobial                                                                                            and other VMPs using suitable LC-LR-MS/MS and/or LC-HR-MS(/MS)

   
  Confirmatory LC-MS/MS monitoring of colistin residues 

     Evaluation of  4 ELISA kits for the screening of nitrofuran metabolites (AOZ, AMOZ, SEM, and AHD) in aquaculture products

     Evaluation of a ELISA screening method for colistins in porcine and poultry meat

     Evaluation of innovative technologies for rapid screening of veternary antimicrobial residues in Foodstuffs - Electrochemical biosensors

 

ANNUAL WORKSHOP

    

      Dedicated to the control of authorised / non-authorised antimicrobial and dye residues in food from animal origin   (Week 25: 19-21 June 2019)
      and including the delivery of a new confirmatory LC-MS/MS method for 5 nitrofuran residues containing the nifursol metabolite
